Osor Archaeological Collection
Housed in the former town hall and loggia, a Renaissance building from the first half of the 15th century, this branch of the Lošinj Museum shows finds from prehistory, antiquity and the Middle Ages. Highlights include the Osor Credo from the 5th to 6th century, a portrait of the young Octavian and a hoard of about 475 Roman silver coins. The collection grew from excavations by parish priest Bolmarčić in the 19th century and has been open to the public since 1889. It opens seasonally from April to October.
