Beli

Beli stands on a hill in northern Cres above a small cove with a pebble beach, harbour and campsite. It developed from the Roman settlement of Caput Insulae; the Roman Bridge spans a gully west of the village.

The visitor and rescue centre for griffon vultures is a key attraction. Walking and cycling routes lead through the surrounding Tramuntana woodland. Check the centre’s current opening hours separately.
