Lubenice

Lubenice stands on a cliff around 378 metres above the sea. Narrow lanes, remains of fortifications, St Anthony’s Church and the sheep-breeding museum characterise the historic village.

Sveti Ivan beach lies below. The tourist board describes the footpath as steep and narrow; allow for the uphill return. Lubenice Musical Evenings take place in summer. Check current event dates and museum opening arrangements separately.
