Merag

Merag is an old coastal village at the foot of a steep slope. Its position on the connection between Cres and Krk was already important in medieval times.

North of the village is Merška jama, a large tectonic depression with dense laurel woodland. The tourist board also links Merag to a cycling route towards Cres. Check ferry timetables and travel conditions with the relevant operator.
