Moise Palace

Built in the first years of the 16th century, the Moise palace is the largest building in the old town and is called the largest Renaissance palace on the Croatian islands. It belonged to the Petris and Moise families, united by marriage, and Frane Petrić spent his childhood here. After falling into disrepair it was fully restored from 2015 to 2019, mainly with EU funds. Today the University of Rijeka uses it as a research and congress centre.
