Punta Križa

Punta Križa lies in southern Cres. Woodland, maquis, former pastures and an indented coastline with numerous coves characterise the area.

Old shepherds’ paths link scattered settlements and ruined churches. The tourist board also lists the Vela Straža viewpoint. Follow marked, usable paths, respect dry-stone walls and close pasture gates behind you. Bring water, suitable footwear and a current trail map for longer outings.
