Roman bridge Beli

At the entrance to Beli a Roman bridge about 2000 years old spans a deep gully. It is around 8 m long and 12 m high, with stone blocks fitted so precisely that it looks carved from one piece. Goods once travelled over it from the port below Beli into the island, and the bridge and road were restored in 1878. Today the new road bypasses it, but the bridge still stands.
