Cres City Museum (Arsan palace)

The Arsan palace is the oldest patrician palace in Cres, built where a shipyard (arsan) once stood. Gothic and Renaissance façades, many Petris family coats of arms and even a Renaissance toilet in a wall niche make the building itself worth a look. Today it houses the Cres City Museum with eight collections, from archaeology and ethnography to coins, heraldry and old books. The bronze statue of Frane Petrić stands in front.
