Clock tower and harbour gate

Beneath the clock tower on the main square runs one of the three surviving town gates of Cres: the harbour gate, which once led straight from the port into the centre. Right behind it the old town begins with the church of St Mary the Great, and the town loggia stands next door. A good starting point for a stroll through the lanes.
