Valun

Valun is a fishing village on the southern shore of Cres Bay. The present coastal settlement developed as residents moved down from the older hill village of Bućev.

It is known for the Valun Tablet, its parish church and the lapidarium beside the old Toš olive mill. Natural pebble beaches and a small campsite are nearby. Fish dishes feature in local cuisine; check current opening, parking and access arrangements locally.
