Lake Vrana

Lake Vrana in the middle of the island is a freshwater lake and the main source of drinking water for the Cres and Lošinj archipelago. It is a remarkable natural feature in the middle of the karst. Because it secures the water supply it is strictly protected, and swimming and boating are not allowed.
