Hike up for the view over Kvarner

The best view of the Riviera is just behind Crikvenica. The Love Path, a loop from the early 1930s, passes the Badanj ruins and climbs to Kavranova stena (301 m) with a view across the Kvarner Bay to Krk. About 8 km, easy and mostly shaded, fine with kids, extendable to the Sopalj lookout for about 14 km. More demanding is the Trail of Stone Steps in Grižane, 4.5 km with over 1,300 rock-cut steps to the Pridva viewpoint. Start early and bring water.
