Drivenik

Drivenik comprises the present village at the foot of the hill and the historic castle precinct above. The Frankopan castle has high walls and round corner towers. St Stephen’s and St Dujam’s churches also stand on the hill.

The town is mentioned in the Vinodol Code of 1288. Distinguish the castle precinct from the village when visiting, and check building access and event programmes beforehand.
