Easy - Green Escape Cycling Route 411
This easy 18 km cycling route starts in the center of Malinska and takes you through a mix of coastline, forests and open fields. Right at the beginning, you pass the DubOak Maritime Heritage Center before following the seaside promenade towards Porat.
In Porat, you can visit the 15th century Franciscan Monastery of St Mary Magdalene, an important cultural and historical site. The route then leads up to Fumak, a hill with a large cross and a beautiful panoramic view over the Rijeka Bay.
From there, the trail continues through peaceful landscapes with olive groves, meadows and forest areas. Along the way, you reach the old cemetery of St Apollinaris and its bell tower, once the center of Dubašnica, later abandoned due to malaria.
The route loops through small villages and hamlets like Barušići and Oštorobradići before returning to Malinska. Perfect for a relaxed ride with a mix of nature and history.
