2nd Nordic Walking Festival Novi Vinodolski 2026
On Sunday, 8 November 2026, Novi Vinodolski hosts the 2nd Nordic Walking Festival. Participants meet at Trg Ivana Mažuranića at 9:30, where you can visit a healthy food fair and have your blood pressure checked. At 10:00 the “Vježbajmo zajedno” warm-up begins under expert guidance, followed by the official opening at 10:30. Then choose one of four routes: “Morska ruta” (Sea Route): easy, 4 km, approx. 1.5 hours | “Obala Petra Krešimira IV”: easy, 7 km, approx. 2 hours 15 minutes | “Dolina vina” (Wine Valley): moderate, 9 km, approx. 2.5 hours, with a wine tasting (one glass) in the vineyards of the Pavlomir wine house | “Turistička ruta” (Tourist Route): a guided tour of the old town, 1 to 1.5 hours.
After the walks, lunch is served for participants from 12:30 to 14:30. From 13:30 to 16:00 there is live entertainment with DJ Tommy and Šajeta, and the festival ends at 16:00. Novi Vinodolski is also one of the most popular places to celebrate Martinje, which goes on all weekend.
The participation fee is 10.00 euros per person and includes lunch, a welcome drink with a tasting of local products, and expert guidance on the tours. You can pay at the info point or in advance. Please wear suitable sportswear and bring enough water. Besides licensed Nordic walking guides, medical staff will also be on site.
