Frankopanski kaštel

The Frankopan Castle defines the western side of Novi Vinodolski’s main square. The Vinodol Code records its connection to the Frankopan family by 1288. Much of the complex was demolished in the eighteenth century; the foundations of a round tower are marked in the square’s paving.
