Olive Trail – Cycling from Punat to Malinska

The Olive Trail is an easy, traffic-free cycling route from Punat to Malinska, about 13 km long with 263 m of ascent. It is perfect for families and offers a safe and relaxed ride through nature.

Starting in Punat, the route leads past open landscapes, pastures, and many olive groves, for which the area is well known. Along the way, you can visit the Stari Toš Gallery, a former olive mill where you can learn more about olive oil production.

The trail follows the coast and passes the Church of St Donatus, an example of early Croatian architecture. It then continues through vineyards and olive fields into the island’s interior. You can also take a detour towards Vrbnik or the town of Krk to explore more of the island.
