Lovran old town

Lovran is one of the oldest coastal towns on the eastern side of Istria. Its name appears in the 7th century and comes from the laurel. The Stubica gate leads into the medieval core with its town tower, town palace with a relief of St. George and narrow lanes. Around it stand many villas from around 1900, such as Villa Astra and Villa Frappart.
