Barbat

Barbat is a coastal settlement on Rab with fishing and boatbuilding traditions. Pebble beaches and a seaside promenade combine swimming with walks towards the Old Town.

The remains of an early Christian fortification on St Damian’s hill are an excursion destination. Karmenica on 16 July is a local tradition. Check current programmes, boat services and restaurant opening arrangements with providers or the tourist board.
