Geological Garden & Geopark Lopar

Lopar’s Geological Garden marks 50 points with fossils, unusual rock formations and rare plants. The Lopar and Fruga peninsulas were strongly shaped by wind and erosion. In season the tourist board offers free guided tours of geological and archaeological sites, including the Roman pottery kiln at Podšilo, excavated in 2009.
