Rapska fjera (medieval festival)

Every year from 25 to 27 July – the feasts of St James, St Anne and St Christopher – the old town turns into a medieval town. Workshops demonstrate old crafts, a fishing village appears on the beach, and there are šulčići, fritule, tuna, cheese and wine. On 27 July come the procession with St Christopher’s reliquary, the crossbow tournament, fireworks over the harbour and a big concert. The fair commemorates 21 July 1364 and draws more than 10,000 visitors a year.
