Žurkovo Bay

The best-known bathing bay on the Kostrena peninsula, a few kilometres east of Rijeka. Freshwater springs keep the sea a degree or two cooler, lovely on hot days. Other Kostrena beaches include Smokvina, Svežanj, Spužvina, Podražica, Nova voda and Perilo.
