crkva Uznesenja Blažene Djevice Marije
The Church of the Assumption stands where Roman baths once lay and where an early Christian place of worship appeared in the 5th to 6th centuries. It received its current Baroque look between 1716 and 1726, and the classicist façade dates from 1842. Next to it rises the Gothic bell tower with an inscription from 1377. It leans by about 40 centimetres, which is why it is known as the Leaning Tower of Rijeka.
