Grad Grobnik
Grobnik castle sits on a 466-metre hill between the Rječina river and the Grobnik plain. It is first mentioned in 1288 in the Vinodol Code, belonged from 1225 to the Counts of Krk, later known as the Frankopans, and then to the Zrinski family. The core has a triangular plan with corner towers. The arcaded courtyard holds a 15th-century Gothic wellhead bearing the Frankopan coat of arms.
