Katedrala sv. Vida

St Vitus’ Cathedral is dedicated to Rijeka’s patron saint. Construction of the Baroque centrally planned church began in 1638 to designs by Jesuit architect Giacomo Briano. Its interior contains ornate altars and an older Gothic crucifix. A collection of sacred art can be visited by appointment.
