St Vitus’ Cathedral

St Vitus is the city’s patron saint, and as early as 1281 Venetian documents mention Rijeka as the town of St Vitus. The cathedral sits on the slope above the Old Town, right next to the entrance of the Rijeka Tunnel. It has its own sacral collection.
