Trsat

Trsat stands on the hill above Rijeka and the Rječina valley. Its castle combines views with historical interpretation, including an information point and the Putovima Frankopana centre.

The pilgrimage shrine is nearby. The Trsat Stairs lead up from the centre; the tourist board also lists bus route 2. Check current timetables and opening times. Roman Tarsatica occupied the area of today’s Rijeka Old Town.
