Trsatski kaštel

Trsat Castle rises above Rijeka and the Rječina valley. Recorded as a seat of local authority in 1288, it is one of the historic fortifications of the Croatian coast. Today it combines views, castle history and cultural events. A tourist information point and the Putovima Frankopana interpretation centre explain the complex.
