International Senj Summer Carnival

Senj has kept carnival customs since 1658 and in August celebrates one of the oldest and biggest summer carnivals in Croatia, in 2026 for the 53rd time. Thursday: small parade and opening on Cilnica Square with concerts. Friday: foam party for kids on Škver beach, costume show and music in the evening. Saturday: the great international carnival parade from Nehaj Fortress with floats and masked groups from Croatia and abroad, followed by concerts and a party into the night.
