Zavižan

Zavižan is a mountain area in Northern Velebit National Park. Below Vučjak, at 1,594 metres, stand the mountain hut and the high-altitude weather station established in 1953. Paths lead towards panoramic summits and the nearby botanical garden.

Weather can change rapidly. Check access and park notices before travelling: roadworks and temporary diversions on the Babić Siča–Zavižan road were announced in 2026. Confirm hut operations and overnight accommodation separately.
